A highlight for every biker
The Alpenhotel Panorama is located at 2.015 meters above sea level, directly in the heart of Schlern/Sciliar Nature Park.
Every bicycling fan will be delighted by our amazing location: from the hotel you can ride through lush Alpine meadows and woods.
Our area offers a wide range of bike tours: the "Seiser Alm Tour", for example, is an easy excursion with many refreshing stops along the way. The more challenging "Tierser Alpl Tour" or the excursion to the Plattkofel Alpine Shelter will tempt all expert bikers.
Do not forget that the routes around the Langkofel or the Plattkofel and around the Sella group are quoted as "royal tours" (Königstouren).
All excursions begin directly from our hotel and ride you along beautiful woods and wonderful paths.
Our hotel disposes of a washing area where you can clean your bicycle, as well as a well-equipped room where you may park your bike and, in case of need, repair it.
Our certified bicycle guide will be pleased to accompany you on daily tours.
Suggested Excursions
Around Seiser Alm/Alpe di Siusi:
We start from the hotel and first proceed along a single trail. We continue on a forest road along which we meet Edelweiss and Alpenrose huts, leading to Mahlknecht Hut. We reach Tirler, after a downhill, and we continue uphill to the “Zallinger”, from which you will enjoy a breathtaking landscape. Then we ride to “Saltria” and, from there, we go on uphill, but do not worry, because all your efforts will be rewarded by the beautiful view of the Langkofel and the Plattkofel. After a refreshing stop at “Hartl”, we will ride again slightly uphill along lush Alpine meadows and get back to the hotel.
Around the Langkofel and the Plattkofel:
We start from the hotel and we proceed along forest paths and single trails, leading to Saltria. We then continue – uphill and downhill – aiming at the “Monte Pana”. From there, we cross the World Cup Downhill Slope nearby the Ciaslat area and we continue towards Wolkenstein. From there, we ride along a forest road in order to avoid cars and to reach Plan de Gralba. From the Sella Pass, we enjoy single trails to Canazei. We warm ourselves up in reaching Campitello along a level road and, after that, we face the next challenge: the Duron Valley. Once we reach the Duron Pass, every biker will feel his/her heart beating in his/her throat! Then we will quickly reach back the hotel!
